Annual Call for ACG Topic Submissions – 2024

The Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE), Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to invite healthcare professionals to submit clinical topics for ACE-MOH to consider for development into ACE Clinical Guidances (ACGs) by end- 2026.

The aims are to identify clinical areas that would benefit from evidence-based recommendations for practice e.g., where there are developments in therapeutics (new drug classes) or significant changes in international clinical practice guidelines. ACE would then review and prioritise the topics based on considerations such as their impact on health outcomes, potential for clinical- and cost-effectiveness, and alignment with overall national health priorities.

The call for ACG topic submissions is open to medical practitioners in public healthcare institutions (PHIs) i.e., Public Hospitals, National Specialty Centres, and Polyclinics, and private sector (through professional societies and the Primary Care Network (PCN) Council):

1. All applications submitted by medical practitioners in PHIs should be endorsed by the Head of Department/ Chairman of Medical Board (CMB) or equivalent.

2. All applications submitted by medical practitioners in the private sector who are members of the Academy of Medicine Singapore (AMS), College of Family Physicians Singapore (CFPS) or a PCN, should be endorsed by the Chapter Chair/ College President/ PCN Council. Applications without the requisite endorsements may not be considered.
